How to know if you or a friend need help?

  • Feeling hopeless, sad, depressed, or worthless
  • Tired all the time or changes in sleeping patterns (too much or too little)
  • Not eating or stopped taking care of oneself
  • Overreacting and angry all the time
  • Withdrawn physically & emotionally from friends and activities
  • Can’t concentrate & struggles to make decisions
  • Feeling extra anxious or becoming very impulsive
  • Chronic pain or physical symptoms with no known cause (and medicine does not seem to help)
  • Talking (or thinking) about suicide and/or giving away possessions
